You Can Ring My Bell

It is cold. Just in case you didn't notice yet. I know. We were in it for two hours this morning tending the Salvation Army bucket outside of KMart. Don't get me wrong it was fun and all, but WAY too cold.

From left: Carson, Griffin, Austin and Keilee

(Yes, Carson was really THAT fun today.)

My guys

Reindeer children!

I think the stitches came in handy. He got lots of comments and money.

I played The First Noel and Joy to the World every 15 minutes or so. Then I would have to stop and thaw out my fingers again while the kids all sang Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Jingle Bells. They also threw in a few others including The Chipmunk Song and Feliz Navidad. LOL!

We had a blast. It was SO cold, but the kids were able to sit on the bench inside the glass entry way and warm up, so it wasn't so bad for them. Our friends Karen and Keilee made the time fly by and we were done before we knew it! It was great to share some volunteer work together and even better to come home to hot chocolate and bake warm cupcakes!
